"No age lives entirely alone; every civilization is formed not merely by its own achievements but by what it has inherited from the past. If these things are destroyed, we have lost a part of our past, and we shall be the poorer for it."
Ronald Balfour—British "Monuments Man," 1944
I am an educator on a mission to ignite the love of lifelong learning in my students. I specialize in the Humanities and their relevance to today's world.
I like to remind students that there is a difference between knowledge and information. Information can be accessed and recalled quickly, particularly in this digital age. Information is the what. Knowledge requires analysis of the why and the how.
